Deerfield Ranch Winery
Kenwood, CA
Under construction

Currently under construction on a 40-acre site just south of Kenwood village in Sonoma Valley is Deerfield Ranch Winery. After entering under the Adirondack Camp-styled gateway, driving through the vineyards and across the bridge at the foot of the pond, visitors will park their cars out of view in the forest. Following a short level footpath, one arrives at the winery constructed of giant logs and stone, reminiscent of Jack London's Wolf House and the great lodges of our National Parks; a rustic style in keeping with the winery's natural setting overlooking the Kenwood Marsh and the Valley of the Moon. The four-storied, 15,000 sq.ft. winery sits above 27,000 sq.ft. of caves housing 40,000 cases of fine wine aging in oak barrels. Though the caves and giant barn are now in use and winemaking is underway, full project completion is still years away for this ambitious and exciting family winery.
