In collaboration with talented interior designer Ruth Livingston, the original modest and poorly detailed spec home was transformed into an elegant 4,300 sq.ft. residence surrounded by beautiful gardens. Using bi-folding Nana doors and windows, combined with both painted steel and clear glass guardrails, interior spaces open out to a round deck and terrace capturing sweeping views of San Francisco Bay. The architecture strikes a balance between traditional and contemporary. The interior spaces are defined by the use of fine hardwood finishes with floors of birch, and cabinets made of Birdseye maple, anigre, English sycamore and cherry.
